Lake is about 50% open. East end is iced over for around 250 yards then opens up completely. Ice starts on the west end by the point on the north side then opens up again at the west end.

9-Mile is a private lake located 9 miles west of Laramie of WY HWY 230 and is part of the Alco Rod and Gun Club. The Alco club memberships are capped and must be purchased from an existing membership holder. Memberships have restrictions and require board approval for transfer. Members are allowed to bring guest with purchase of a guest pass for $15, passes are available for purchase by members at the West Laramie Fly Store.
