The AFTCO Flat Line Clip, with a 135-lb. coated stainless steel cable and heavy duty snap-swivel attached, can be rigged from the stern of the boat to put trolling lines into the water at a lower angle, helping to minimize the tangling that might otherwise occur when trolling with multiple lines, and keep your lures running below the surface for better action. Once the clip's tension is set, our precision-engineered latching system releases your line repeatedly at exactly the same pull to assure fewer missed strikes and less broken lines. Featured is AFTCO's legendary "roller guide action", where trolling lines roll smoothly over a polished stainless steel roller that turns right with the line - virtually eliminating friction and fraying. Your line remains strong and ready to absorb the stress from the sudden impact of a strike.
Includes everything needed to set up a kite fly-line for fishing one or two baits, except the Dacron® or monofilament line. Each 11-piece set includes two Goldfinger? Release Clips, three black barrel swivels, five kite hooks, and one heavy-duty snap.
The AFTCO Outrigger Clip helps you to position a trolling lure from an outrigger by simply reeling in or letting out line right through the clip, where the line rides safely on a roller that features silky-smooth action. The clip's tension adjustment is positive yet sensitive over a wide range of settings, and once the tension is set, our precision-engineered latching system releases your line repeatedly at exactly the same pull to assure fewer missed strikes and less broken line and gear.
Completely waterproof and extremely durable, the kites are constructed of super-durable, ripstop, nylon sailcloth and will not rot or mildew. The kites can be used in all wind conditions from 4 to 25-plus miles an hour and feature easily adjustable Dacron® bridle and handy loops sewn into the back of the sail for attaching helium balloons for light wind use.
Features a super-lightweight design for kites or outriggers and large diameter stainless wire bail which results in less line wear and smoother releases. The OC-1 Outrigger release clip should be attached directly to the outrigger halyard without the use of swivels. The adjustment-slider end of the clip needs to be up towards the tip of the outrigger. For fixed position bait trolling, the fishing line should be twisted 5 to 10 times before hooking the loop over the bail. The line may also be passed over the bail without twists to allow for adjustment of baits or lures.
