Comments:

When I take the rig out of the package I grab both ends and run it back and forth over the boat gunnel to take the curl out. I use a 1/4oz split shot 4 inches from the hook. This helps sink the rig faster. I put on a 10 inch sucker tail hooked and a big slip bobber the last time I used mine. I was fishing 20ft deep in 40ft of water. The Northern weighed 21 lbs. As with any rig Your line and terminal tackle have to be top notch. This method was simple. I used a bobber stop, a large plastic round bobber with the top and bottom clasps turned so the line would slip through. Then I tied a cross lock ball bearing swivel to the line with a good knot and attached the Lindy Heart of steel spinner.
